- Pinball fantasies -

There have been many pinball games throughout the years but none have had as much an impact on me as pinball fantasies. From the creators of pinball dreams another great pinball game it is not however a sequel as such but an improvement. The biggest things about pinball dreams was that the screen could only show a limited amount of the table because of the resolution. Pinball fantasies uses a semihigh resolution that allows almost half the table to be displayed at once so the scrolling is a lot less then pinball dreams.

Once again there are four tables which you can play each with their own themes. Partyland is about a fair with ballons and rides, speed devils has a racing theme, billion dollar gameshow 's title pretty much explains it all and stones and bones is a scary one with ghosts and goblins. Each machine has the basic pinball gameplay where you hit the ball with two paddles into objects that can give you points or other bonusses. Also you can get specials plays when you complete a number of things like hitting every button on the field or doing a set amount of loops and these usually give rewards ranging from a million extra points to an extra ball. Each one does however plays quite differently and you will quickly find the one you like the most. My favorite is the stones and bones machine as it has a number of different objectives that you can reach indicated by the ghosts that light up and each one lets you play a different minigame.

This game can be seriously addictive and once you get hooked it's hard to let go. My personal record-score with the stones and bones game is over 633 million which you can see in the screenshot hehe :) I'm sure you will find one machine which you will like and even if you don't usually play pinball machines this game still is fun. The best part about the game is that it doesn't require any serious hardware to run and it has some of the best pc speaker music I ever heard, you can even play a single machine from only one floppy disk. Check it out and if you dare try to beat my record!

Overal rating: 9/10
