Raid on bungeling bay is a fairly simple shooter where you pilot a helicopter and the premise of the game is quite simple. You simply fly around and try to find and destroy the enemy base and along the way you can shoot every enemy vehicle you come across. You're gunship is armed with machine guns that have unlimited ammo and groundsbomb that you need to destroy the enemy base. There is a limited supply though so don't use them needlessly because if you run out you'll have to collect some more from your homebase. Later levels don't change much but there will be more than one base and they will take more pounding to defeat.
The game is played from an overhead view and you can control your helicopter in a 360 degree motion which was pretty unique when it was released as most other shooters were either vertical or horizontal scrollers. The graphics aren't really good because of the lack of processing power available at the time. Like many old games there is little variety and you can easily get bored with the game fast but I commend the developers for trying something new in the shooting game genre.
